Just a few years ago, they were still under the radar, but now business parks are a real estate class in high demand. Investors are buying heavily, and with a transaction volume of almost 1.2 billion euros, industrial parks in 2019 accounted for almost 40 % of the total investment volume in 2019 in corporate real estate. And project developers are creating new areas on a large scale: Whereas in 2015 only 90,000 sqm of space were completed, five years later the figure was 210,000 sqm.
